Come now Lord Jesus by Billy Evmur to the tune of Slane

Come now Lord Jesus
still dwell in my heart
make glad with Your presence
to never depart
pour out Your living water
Your blessings abound
to all who are seeking
this treasure I found.

My hands are Your hands
that healing might flow
to the hurt and the aching ones
Lord that You know
A will that never changes
Your love still the same
their comfort is certain
who will call on Your name.

Your message my tongue Lord
shall sound all abroad
with my feet You'll go
to them bringing Your word
glad tidings of rescue
to any in need
a Friend to the lonely ones
their cause I will plead

Your will be my will
God never says nay
if we'll only be honest
to do as You say
lay down our heavy burden
our sin and our pain
filled-full with Your Spirit
our sun shine again.

BEAUTIFUL to the tune Cavatina

Lord, You were beautiful
beautiful to behold,
in Your shame Lord
and in weakness
God's love unfold.

There stood, where I should have stood
in Your love, You took my place,
in Your Person,You were bearing
all of my disgrace.
*
(I never could have known the cost to You
the price You paid to set me free)
*
2 bar riff
*
No, not in majesty
comeliness to behold
but in pain, Lord
and in sorrow
God's love unfold.

There stood, a felon in bonds,
so that I might go free.
oh I love You,Lord Jesus,
on Judah's tree

Yes, You are beautiful,
beautiful to behold.
Not in power
but in meekness
God's love unfold.
*
So very beautiful
my eyes behold.

DOVE ON A DISTANT OAK TREE by Billy Evmur

Peacefully peaceful, my heart in serenity,
resting in Thee.
Your peace is a prayer unctioning me.
Thank-you vibes to Thee my God and Saviour,
sin hardened hearts You will soften and turn
to rest in Thee,
the ways of ire and wrath no more to learn.
*
Joyfully joying, and my mouth filled with praises,
I lifting up
the voice of a dove on a distant oak tree,
sweet love-songs to Thee my God and Saviour,
hosannas, though soft carry a long ways,
I lifting up
glad heart-tunes unto The Ancient of days.
*
Lovingly loved, The Holy Spirit dwelling
abide in me
Rivers out-flowing, a dry ground wat'ring
and my love is to Thee my God and Saviour.
Gifted to me, I give it back to Thee,
indwelling One,
this will be all my heart's anthology.

Give Me A Sight O Saviour by Katherine A.M. Kelly

Give me a sight o Saviour
of Thy wonderous love to me,
of the love that brought Thee down to earth
to die on Calvary

Was it the nails o Saviour
that bound Thee to the tree?
nay, twas Thine everlasting love,
Thy love for me, for me

O make me understand it,
help me to take it in,
what it meant to Thee, the Holy One,
to bear away my sin.

O wonders of all wonders,
that through Your death for me,
My open sins, my secret sins
can all forgiven be.

Then melt my heart o Saviour
bend me yea break me down,
until I own Thee, Conqueror,
my Lord and Sovereign crown.

O make me understand it,
help me to take it in,
what it meant to thee, the Holy One,
to bear away my sin.

By His Stripes

On the cross, crucified, in great sorrow He died
the Giver of life is He.
Yet my Lord is despised and rejected of men
oh this Jesus of calvary.

The price for healing it was paid
as those cruel stripes were laid,
within Pilates judgement hall.
But His suffering, it affords
perfect healing for all
this Healer of men today

But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquity.
Surely He bore our sorrows.
And by His stripes we are healed.

He has healed my sick soul,
He made me every whit whole.
oh He,ll do the very same for you.
He,s the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
This wonderful Saviour is mine.

But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquity.
Surely He bore our sorrows,
And by His stripes we are healed.

A Take on Psalm 23 by Billy Evmur

Meadow me! such luscious grass to lay down in, what a Kingly Shepherd I have got, my every need is catered for here by this gently flowing stream He has brought me to. I am so refreshed. His very name is my guarantee that He will keep me on the right track. What if rough times are ahead, stormy waters, I am not afraid, not with You by my side, if I forget to lean upon You, give me a nudge or tug at my sleeve Dear Lord I pray, especially in the dark place of death, even there you will be my comfort and my stay. People that don,t like me can watch and see if I lack any of the good things of life, You always provide for my table, I couldn,t be more satisfied. And oh the fragrance of Your anointing oil, soothing away the bumps and scratches of the day, Father I thank You my heart overflows. Lord, You have come to me only in kindness and sweet mercy, I,m sure You will be the same tomorrow and always, my whole life through. You are taking me along the path that leads directly to Your home, where I shall dwell forever with You.

"IT IS THE LORD."

"It is The Lord," Who's come to meet us,
feel the cheery fire glow.
Let us gather round to greet Him,
our risen Master we would know.

Welcome Jesus, welcome Jesus,

make each heart to overflow.

"It is The Lord," He bids us supper,
break the bread, pour the wine.
Bring His words to sweet remembrance,
here is substance and no mere sign.

Welcome Jesus....

Let's think about the way He saved us,
cruelly nailed to the tree.
With His sacrifice accepted,
His grace poured out so rich, so free.

Welcome Jesus....

"It is The Lord," brother, sister,
He's made us family.
None the lesser, none the greater,
our hearts knit in love's unity.

Welcome Jesus....

"It is The Lord," let's be thankful
for all He's made us be,
while we wait for His appearing
to take us home with Him to be,
forever more with Him to be.

What Sacred Fountain by Joseph Irons

What sacred fountain freely springs
up from the throne of God
and all new covenant blessings bring
it's Jesu's precious blood.

What mighty Son paid all my debt
for I in bankrupt stood
and has my life in credit set
it's Jesu's precious blood.

O precious blood that covers me
it takes away the stain of sin
such power there contained within
Jesu's precious blood.

What stream is that which sweeps away
my sin just like a flood
so not a hint of it can stay
it's Jesu's precious blood.

What voice is that which speaks for me
in heavens high court for good
it justifies and sets me free
it's Jesu's precious blood.

One thing my tongue shall soon employ
it's song before my God
and make all heaven ring with joy
it' Jesu's precious blood.

YOU CAME WITHOUT MAJESTY by Billy Evmur

With a willing heart I take up my theme,
and pour forth praises as a stream.
My tongue and pen will be swift,
to give You thanks for You priceless gift.

You came without majesty,
no beauty to see,
Your glory You laid aside,
You came to save me.

You are the fairest of men among men,
Your throne O God, fore'er amen,
deity in flesh did hide
to rescue me from mine awful pride.

You came without majesty,
no beauty to see.
Your glory You laid aside
You came to save me.

When one day dear Lord I will see Your face
what love I will see there, what grace.
Oh how I shall then adore,
to be with my Lord forever more.

You came without majesty,
no beauty to see.
Your glory You laid aside,
You came to save me.

SPARKLES by Billy Evmur

Hey! come to the sparkles
and see if it's true,
this life giving water
shall your spirit renew.
+
It's water that sparkles
with new life for thee.
It wells up inside you
and floods your heart with glee.
+
Jesus is the well-spring
whence the water comes.
Fresh and clean, refreshing,
drink freely with no qualms.
+
And Who makes the sparkles,
gaily effervesc,
that blest Holy Spirit
pouring in heart-gladness.
+
Ooh that flowing water,
just like a river,
so vigourous and free
from Jesus life-giver.

JUST AS IF I'D by Billy Evmur

Just as if I'd never done it,
that is what being justified means.
I have the joy, but how can I know,
that it actually is so
"Go in peace, your Lord has saved you,"
'tis Jesu's word that makes it true.

And where The Spirit of The Lord is
there is liberty.
He breaks down the door and snaps the fetters
and He sets the prisoners free.

Just as if I'd never fallen,
my heart He's made happy and free.
Now I can be the person I've dreamed,
all my best hopes are redeemed.
No longer by angel chains held,
I am by His Spirit indwelled.

And where The Spirit of The Lord is
there is liberty.
He breaks down the door and snaps the fetters
and He sets the prisoners free.

Just as if I'd not gone astray,
the path of peace He sets before me.
Jesus holds the torch that shines ahead,
by His promise I am led.
He shows me all I can become,
fullness of Him who fills the sum.

And where The Spirit of The Lord is
there is liberty,
He breaks down the door and snaps the fetters
and sets the prisoners free,
He sets the prisoners free,
Hallelujah! He has set this prisoner free.
